Better decisions start with a better understanding of young people.

We build a genuine understanding of what's shaping young people's lives, and put that understanding directly in front of the institutions that can act on it. Research, policy, and practice come together in one place, so understanding turns into decisions that actually change outcomes for young people.

Research

Understanding what matters to young people through robust research, co-design and evaluation.

Policy

Turning evidence into practical recommendations that shape public policy and investment.

Practice

Helping organisations apply evidence to improve services, programmes and outcomes.

The Insight to Impact Collective is a national organisation based in the Tees Valley, working to put young people aged 13 to 19 at the centre of the decisions that shape their lives.

"Young people don't experience their lives in silos, education, employment, community, and opportunity are all connected. And none of it stands still. What's true for a young person today may not be true in six months.

The Insight to Impact Collective exists to build a better understanding of young people's lives, so decisions are shaped by insight rather than assumption. Because young people should be understood, not just measured."
